Description: A wonderful image of the actor Sawamura Tanosuka in the role of the female bandit Kijin Omatsu. A Bamboo forest is depicted in sumi-e style in the background. The decorative butterfly cartouches add a subtle feminine element and contain poems. This print is rarely seen.
