Description: Bold brush strokes of brilliant red sumi-e are hand applied over a rich black lithograph ground in this elegant image.Often called a “drawing” this piece by Shinoda is done entirely with brushwork over the litho background. The artist was accomplished enough to confidently replicate the strokes on each piece in the edition.
