Description: A birds eye view of Kyoto during a thunderstorm. Subtle echoes of Hiroshige can be seen in the slanted sheets of pouring rain falling between the tiled rooftops of the city's most important buildings, shrines and temples. Sekino's mastery of design is clearly evident. Exceptional use and gradations of color from warm to cool, light to dark create a dynamic landcape . A scarce image by the Artist
