Description: A young woman with direct gaze walks purposefully,carrying a basket of mangoes to sell.Jacouet has captured her graceful stride by emphasizing the loose flowing lines of her garments as she walks, and the drifting mango leaves falling around her. Her skirt is rendered in vibrant shades of green differing from the light yellow in later editions.A rare first edition, only 90 sheets were published.
