Description:The Artist has engraved the image on the surface of a cut tree branch. The Print is rubbed onto delicate transluscent paper and adhered to soft Gampi paper. The Ainu word kamuy is often translated into “Kami (gods)” or “Hotoke (spirits)".The Artists Prints interpret traditional tales describe floating worlds with Ainu mosir, or the land of the humans.
