Description: A gorgeous snowscene marked by an atmospshere of profound stillness. Narazaki noted that this work is, "An unusual scene of a lakeside shrine. In this work, the blizzard raging across the tranquil lake; the distant mountains; the dark snowy sky; the water, as if dyed a deep color; and the bare, snow-laden trees are all individual traits of Hasui". - Hotei Vol. 1, pg. 72

Condition: A very fine example with vibrant colors throughout. Margins were once bent, now professionally flattened.soft rubbing to seal right margin.
