Description:A lush green forest at a riverbank. Although there are no animals and birds depicted in this work, one can sense easily the existence of countless creatures, great and small, hidden in the primordial forest and the pristine river. Artist's description: "I come up to the edge of the wood, it shudders, aware as I come close. Each tree, part of a vast network, communicating, connecting, sharing. Different species, contributing to the whole. Darwin says we must fight, with only the fittest to survive. But as a virus rages through my world, I see how we are all connected. As the natures flourish our cities crumble. We focus on ourselves, missing the forest for the trees."
