Description:A wonderful example of from the Artists best period. The side view of a steeply thatched roof dominates the scene, viewed through the branches a large leafy tree. A rough mud wall adds texture to the composition.

Condition:very fine, old tape remains at corners verso, slight scuffing top two corners, very small inventory label lower right corner, a single spot of foxing within image is barely visible.
