Description: A quiet evening in a small traditional village; the sunlight is slowly fading.. the moon rises from the dark woods flooding the scene with its pale color. Two neighbors exchange greetings in the waning light, an aura of quiet permanence pervades. Little is known about the Artist. Raizans works of this genre were produced prior to thw Great Kanto Earthquakeof 1923 and are scarce, as many were destroyed. Many display subtle shades of black and grey bokashi .
