Description: Magnificent sheet of Aizu in deep snow. In this Work the bright, white foreground of snow is contrasted to the buildings and trees beyond, where snow-covered roofs are dark grey and branches are black in the Night. A lone man approaches from the right and a little light-grey tree stands within the embracing curve of the undulating, snow-covered foreground. Silence reigns.
