Description: Angel Gabriel inclines towards Mary, raising a long finger. Mary, having dropped her book, looks up piously. The dove is poised between them. All aspects of the iconography, descriptive detail and composition are outstanding in this print. Note, for instance, the delicate touch of the Angel's and Mary's fingers, the beautiful contrasts of black and white with highlights of color throughout.
