Description: In this elegant Woodblock Print, Hodaka uses vertical and diagonal shapes, creating an animated, yet controlled pattern of overlapping, advancing and receeding shapes in earthy tones of grey, brown and black. Look closely, and it appears that a figure is stalking through the dense rushes and slender trees.
