Description: A favorite motif is the well defined square with a grid of 'dots' that project and recede, against a background of contrasting color, mysteriously pulsating behind the geometric form. Here Hayashi uses a bright blue, with softer margins where it appears as if the wind has blown bits of plants, grass or needles around.
