Toshi Yoshida Biography

Toshi Yoshida studied oil painting with his father Yoshida Hiroshi and block carving with Maeda Yujiro. He graduated in 1935 from School of Taiheiyogakai, and traveled widely in India, Europe, and U.S. After World War II he turned to abstract prints for several years but later returned to realistic rendition of subjects from nature.
